Auto Accidents
At one time, there were assumptions that injuries from auto accidents were always obvious at the time of the accident. Upon greater examination of these assumptions, research now reveals that there may be a postponement in the arrival of post accident symptoms. This is now fairly ordinary for injuries of a major or minor nature. A reason why victims of car accidents may not feel anything at the time of the accident is due to the heightened affects of adrenaline present in their bodies. Though it varies, some accident victims may not experience their post accident symptoms until several months later while others experience intense or series pain the day of their accident. Our office has worked with auto accident patients and everything associated with those patients including primary physicians, automobile insurance companies and personal injury lawyers. Dr. Rosenfeld will speak with a patient’s lawyer and complete all necessary paperwork in order to start patient care as soon as possible. During the duration in which Dr. Rosenfeld is treating the patient, she will work closely with their insurance company and lawyer. Depending on the type and severity of the case, there may not be any out-of-pocket costs for patient care. After treatment is finished, the patient’s insurance company and lawyer will receive a detailed report outlining the patient’s treatment and present condition. After an Auto Accident Checklist.
- Stay in the car until the police arrive. If possible, consider moving the car to a safe place while waiting for their arrival.
- Call for an ambulance (if needed) as well as the police.
- No matter the severity of the injury, go to the emergency room. Even if there is no visible injury present at the time of the accident, it is a good idea to get examined by a doctor within the first 24 hours. Typically, in the aftermath of an auto accident, most injuries remain masked by adrenaline.
- Secure necessary contact information from all passengers and witnesses involved. Obtain insurance and driver’s license information from the other drivers.
- Make a claim with the insurance company.
- Don’t say sorry to the police or admit fault. Let the police decide the best course of action.
- When an officer arrives, obtain an accident report number.
- There may be damage that has gone unseen. Take pictures of every car involved in the accident from all angles.
- If uninjured and able to operate the vehicle, drive it home.
- Arrange for a tow truck if operating the vehicle is not possible.
- If the vehicle remains inoperable, call a friend, family member or co-worker and wait until they arrive.
- If local state government requires it, file a separate police report.
- If insurance covers the cost, get a rental car. If not covered by insurance, determine if obtaining a rental car is still a possibility.
- Choose a reputable, reliable repair shop to fix the damaged vehicle. Testimonials or referrals from friends and satisfied clients may help in deciding the best option.

My back is a lot better
"I have suffered back strain on and off since December 2006. Picking up something or my weight caused it and I could not go to work so it was pretty severe. I saw another chiropractor on and off and got some good results but it didn't last. I found Dr. Rosenfeld on the internet and through my husband's insurance. My back is a lot better and now we are working on neck pain and stress in my upper shoulders from work and day to day activities. Massage has helped as well."
I would give 10 stars if I could.
"I would give 10 stars if I could. Dr. Rosenfeld is the consummate professional!
If you want to get the best chiropractic care available look no further. I must receive impeccable care/service for me to write a review. Dr. Rosenfeld will increase your quality of life and reduce your pain. This is all done in a professional manner and setting. The staff is just as professional as Dr. Rosenfeld which is extremely important to me! I have been to numerous Chiropractors and very rarely will I return for a second visit. My search took over 6 months to find the right Dr and care. And the office hours should accommodate anyone's schedule.
Thank you Dr. Rosenfeld. I'm so excited to have found you!"

Now am able to walk a mile or more with NO PAIN, NO NUMBNESS and my NEUROPATHY IS GONE!
"About 3 months ago, started having worsening pain in my thighs and calves when walking. It had gotten so bad that when walking more than a few houses, I had to stop because of the severe pain. Had an MRI and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, severe degenerative disc disease and protruding discs. Since I wanted to avoid surgery, I decided to try Spinal Decompression treatments from Dr. Iris, twice a week for 5 weeks. Now am able to walk a mile or more with NO PAIN, NO NUMBNESS and my NEUROPATHY IS GONE! My advice..just try the Spinal Decompression Therapy!"
I was really impressed with the advanced equipment and techniques
"In April of 2008 I was struck by another car while driving and felt my neck snap and muscles in my upper body pull and tear. When I woke up the next day I had a migraine and was so stiff I could not walk. Dr. Iris saw me immediately and began working on me. I was really impressed with the advanced equipment and techniques she uses on accident victims. She eliminated my headache in the first visit and got me walking without pain quickly. I would never see or recommend another chiropractor as long as Dr. Iris is still practicing. She is such a wonderful person and talented professional."
Her patients come first there is no question about that.
"I have known Dr. Iris for over 15 years & in all that time she has never wavered from being not only a professional in her field, but treating you like a friend. She has always taken good care of me & made time to see me when I've needed her care. She is always on a quest to learn more & educate her patients so they can lead healthy lives. Her patients come first there is no question about that."
It was amazing.
"I first came to Dr. Iris's office in April of 2004. At the time, I was in bad shape. I had recently pulled a neck muscle, was extremely fatigued and could not concentrate on my course work. I suffered from many food allergies and an extreme sensitivity to gluten. Within 3 visits my neck pain was gone. Dr. Iris had recommended certain supplements which helped immensely with my fatigue and concentration. Within a year of starting the allergy treatments, my food allergies vanished, including my gluten problem (which was deemed impossible by other doctors and allergists I have seen) along with a dust allergy. It was amazing."
Previously I have seen a GI and an Allergist, with no help.
"I first came into the office on April 2007. I had food and environmental allergies. The allergies were moderate and caused mental fog, fatigue, stomach cramps and IBS. Previously I have seen a GI and an allergist, with no help. Because of the treatments I received here, I am 85% recovered. Most of the foods which caused troubles do not currently cause any symptoms."
I have my life back!
"I have suffered with sciatica issues my entire life and worsened when I was pregnant. The severity was intense. I saw a general practitioner but had poor results. I found Dr. Rosenfeld through my insurance company and looked her up on the internet. I have had excellent results… I have my life back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and back!"
