What Health Food is playing an April Fool’s Joke?

Some so-called “Health Foods” really aren’t healthy, but trying to FOOL us!!

  1. Sports Drinks: these drinks are high in sugar and calories that we really don’t need when working out.  Health food?  Just a sugar drink…
  2. Vitamin Water: Made with “crystalline fructose” or SUGAR, so it’s almost like drinking soda!!!
  3. Store bought Smoothies: May contain ice cream vs yogurt & fruit juice vs fresh fruit—too much sugar!
  4. Cereal-Granola: It’s high in sugar, fat and calories and the serving size is about the size of a teacup.
  5. Muffins: A store bought blueberry muffin is at least 500 calories. Yichs!
  6. Kind Bars: Contain about 16 gms of sugar & RDA for sugar is 20 gms. Is this “KIND” to our health?
  7. Gluten-Free sweet products: May contain a higher level of sugar than needed to help the taste.
  8. Luncheon meats: Overloaded with sodium and preservatives including nitrates.  Nitrites and nitrites are far from health food…
  9. “Natural” listed on a label: It doesn’t have any criteria behind the work and often means nothing.
  10. Starbucks Egg White Wraps: These are mixed with TONS of extra ingredients not beneficial to you.
  11. McDonald’s Oatmeal: Full of lots of sugar and 11 extra ingredients not found in a kitchen.  Health food it is not…
  12. Burger King’s Turkey Burger: Too high in calories and has many fatty toppings in the sandwich.
