Neck Pain and Chiropractic
Imagine this– your neck is a twelve pound bowling ball trying to be balanced on a spinal column the size of the tip of your fingers. Your cervical spine is made up of 7 bones that need to be sustained at all times. When one vertebrae gets out of place, it puts added strain on the rest of your cervical spine and can cause limited mobility, pain and other tenderness in your neck. Pain can get severe because of the amount of nerves located in your neck, therefore, it is always important to do your best to keep your neck aligned. Minor neck pain is considered to only last a day or so, and to be very limited in discomfort and mobility. However, moderate to severe neck pain can occur if it is persistent and had been preceded by an injury, a car accident or repetitive stress.
Safe, gentle and specific chiropractor care can efficiently treat the true cause of the pain rather than masking it with pain relievers. It is always the goal of the Chiropractor to reduce the amount of nerve irritation occurring in your neck, with a precise gentle adjustment and giving you the mobility you need to go about your life!
Dr. Rosenfeld has given me lasting relief from pain
"In 1982 I was catapulted from a motorcycle causing whiplash, neck and low back injuries. Many years of an untreated condition and compression created much pain, discomfort and subluxation. After seeing another chiropractor for 15 years it was time for a change. During those 15 years I had many visits and physical therapy that gave me temporary pain relief and muscle toning and strenuously. Temporary relief. I was referred to Dr. Rosenfeld by Barbara Anderson who is a Rolfing therapist. Dr. Rosenfeld has given me lasting relief from pain and the ability to maintain a longer adjustment much and I have much gratitude and appreciation!"
